| Green Briar Dog Boarding is
a small, family run business established in 2009 with low occupancy that
allows us to focus on keeping your dog entertained, happy and safe. Our
space is designed for sociable dogs that enjoy being out of doors. If your
dog needs a place to stay for a few hours, or a full day, Green Briar can
fill that need. |
| Day boarders and “drop ins” are always welcome after the initial interview and pre-registration has taken place. Dogs that come to Green Briar should be well socialized as they will be spending time in small groups. We have different yards for the less energetic or mellow canines and other spaces for more energetic breeds. |
| Each dog has their own private sleeping space plus large areas of outdoor space that they share with others. The rest of their day is filled with human and canine interaction and romping in the field. With a staff member out with the dogs at all times, your pet will never be neglected and your dog’s requirements can be tailored to his or her needs. |
| While we will have hypo-allergenic
cookies and rewards, we ask that you please bring your pets own food if
they have a meal while they are here. |
| Unfortunately, because we are
a small alternative style dog boarding facility we have decided that we
cannot take Pit Bulls (aka Straffordshire Terriers, Straffordshire Bull Terriers)
or any dogs that have strong characteristics of the above breeds. There
are other dog boarding facilities here on the Peninsula that can accommodate
these breeds. |
| If you need someone
to take care of your dogs in an emergency, we would be happy to take all
the dogs from one family for the price of one for a couple of hours. |
