We require every dog to have their Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella (Kennel cough) vaccinations. Dogs should receive treatment at least two weeks prior to arrival.

Does my dog need to have a dog license?

Yes, every dog should be licensed in their municipality and registered with a veterinarian of your choice . If you don't have a regular vet , in case of emergency we will use a veterinarian of our choice. The appropriate tags should be displayed on your dogs collar.

Do you require dogs to either be spayed or neutered?

Yes! Most dogs over 6 months of age who comes to board at Green Briar must be either spayed or neutered.
We wish to avoid having female dogs "in heat" or un-neutered males acting aggressively towards other dogs while in group situations.

When and how can I pay for my dogs stay?

Cash and cheques are accepted. Payment is required at the start of the dogs stay.
Unfortunately at this point we are not able to accept Debit or Credit Cards.

Can we pre-pay for daily visits?

Yes, we can accept weekly cheques or cash amounts for dogs with a regular schedule.

Are the dogs unsupervised when they are in groups?

No, someone will be closely supervising the dogs when they are outside in groups; your dog will receive lots of one on one time with Green Briar staff through out the day.

Should I bring my dog's own food?

Yes, we prefer you bring your dog's regular food as his/her digestive system is accustomed to it and unfamiliar food may cause stomach upset, rashes, etc.
